Your online learning tools have also transitioned to MyBGC.com! Whether you have new programs to start, or programs you'd like to complete, you will be able to access them all on MyBGC.com

New Roles on MyBGC.com

Executive Director/CEO and Club Administrators

Executive Director/CEO, and their appointed Club Administrators, manage their Club Administration and its associated service locations on MyBGC.com. 

What can Club Administrators and Executive Director/CEOs do?

  • Access information about your Club, its members, and all of its service locations
  • Manage and invite staff and board members to MyBGC.com
  • Invite members to create a MyBGC.com account and/or join your Club
  • Invite staff and board members to programs
  • Be invited to programs, and participate in fun Challenges, Activities, and Events on MyBGC.com
Club Administrators and Executive Director/CEOs can also: 
  • Invite Club members and staff to Sevice Locations, or add Service Location Administrators to manage membership within that location
  • Invite Club members and staff in their Sevice Locations to programs
  • Moderate incoming membership requests in all their Service Locations 

About Service Location Administrators

Service Location Administrators are associated with one or more service locations. They have the important responsibility that they can view youth and staff's personal information. They can review and approve service location members. They can invite youth and other staff to service locations and online programs. 

What can Service Location Administrators do?

  • Access information about their service location
  • Manage staff and members at their service location
  • Receive notifications by email when site members request to join their Club
  • Moderate incoming membership requests
  • Invite members to create a MyBGC.com account and/or join your Club
  • Invite staff and members to programs
  • Be invited to programs, and participate in fun Challenges, Activities, and Events on MyBGC.com

 

How to get started

  1. Accept your invitation to join MyBGC.com (check your email starting May 24th!)
  2. Click the Manage My Clubs button that appears on your dashboard to access your Club Management Tools. You can also access this page at any time by clicking the My Clubs link at the top right of the page.
  3. Click on a service location to begin adding staff
  4. Get ready to welcome your Staff to MyBGC.com using your Invitation tools!

    Note: You can add additional Club Administrator roles to coordinate larger Club groups in the 'Manage Staff & Board' area, or add Service Location Administrator roles within each location.

Managing Clubs & Service Locations

Managing Memberships and Club details is important work! Each service location must be managed by a Service Location Administrator Role so that members can stay connected, and receive invitations to participate in a wide variety of extended online learning activities on MyBGC.com.

Click on a service location link on your dashboard to view and manage Club details and members.  

What's on my Club Administration Dashboard?

  • VIEW (Service Locations) is a running update of your Club activity in that Club location on MyBGC.com
  • EDIT  allows you to edit the address of your service location, or Edit Club Details to update the Club description.
  • MANAGE MEMBERS 
    • Manage Staff & Board (Club Administration) is where you can invite Board members and Club staff that aren't yet assigned to a Service Location using the Invitation buttons, or delegate that to your Club Administrator depending on the size and structure of your Club. You can also view, edit, and delete members here. 
    • Members & Staff (Service Locations)  is where you can invite Club staff using the Invitation buttons. You can also 'Invite Youth Club Members', or delegate that to a Service Location Administrator, depending on the size and structure of your club. You can also view, edit, and delete members here.
    • Pending Invitations is a list of pending invitations that have not yet been accepted 
    • Membership Requests (Service Locations only) is a list of requests to join your Service Location online. You can approve or reject membership requests here.  Note: Email notifications for new incoming requests are only sent to Service Location Administrators for that location.
  • PROGRAM INVITATIONS are for issuing invitations to new programs
