Youth Programs and BGCU

MyBGC is a platform built from the ground up to support the learning and growth of youth and staff at Clubs. We have designed a series of Learning Management Systems (or LMS) for users to explore new topics and build their skills.

Youth Programs are designed to support the programming delivered in Clubs. These cover a variety of topics and are written for a young learner. Youth Programs can be completed independently or as part of a program taking place in a local Club!

BGCU is the name for training programs targeted at Club staff. These modules teach fundamental practices for delivering programming, managing a Club, and creating a safe and engaging environment for youth.

Both of these kinds of programs can be found in the Programs section of MyBGC.

Public and Private Programs

Not all of the LMS content on MyBGC can be accessed by all users. Most youth programs and fundamental BGCU programs are listed as Public. These programs can be found in the Programs section of MyBGC by any user.

Private Programs are hidden in the Programs menu and require an invitation before being accessed. These programs may be hidden because they serve a specific audience, or because another program must be completed as a prerequisite. To access a private program, request an invitation from your Club's ED/CEO or Administrator!
